I am a dedicated educator and change agent with over twelve years of experience in providing transformational leadership and high-quality instruction. I have worked and advocated against the inequitable educational opportunities afforded to students of marginalized communities and groups, having served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, founding school principal, director of secondary literacy, head of schools, and education consultant.
Remaining committed to my core values, I navigate my journey full of purpose, passion, and conviction. Everyday, I am charged with ensuring that all children within my locus of influence—regardless of zip code, skin color, or socioeconomic status—have educators whose ultimate goal is to understand, motivate, and equip students with the necessary tools to thrive in the classroom and beyond. And I charge others to do the same.
